As human beings, we are biologically hardwired for meaningful connection with others. Within and beyond her practice, Nina strives to invest in and connect to her community so we can all thrive.
Bowling Green Pride Raffle
In 2021, Nina became increasingly disheartened by the prevalence of “rainbow-washing,” which is when companies capitalize on the spending power of LGBTQ+ consumers, particularly during Pride Month. Often, the same companies that sell rainbow merchandise in June will donate funds to anti-LGBTQ+ political campaigns.
In response, Nina partnered with dozens of local businesses and artists to organize the annual Bowling Green Pride Raffle, which has raised over $14,000 for Bowling Green Pride Festival and The Trevor Project.
